One the one-year anniversary of Occupy Wall Street, protestors were thwarted from entering the Brookfield Properties-owned Winter Garden. Instead, they met in nearby Pumphouse Park in lower Manhattan to prepare for a march to the headquarters of Goldman Sachs. In the park, there were a handful of arrests of those wearing scarves or bandanas covering their faces in violation of a law from 1845.
